A few months ago, I came across a book that I wish everyone to read, Medical Medium by Anthony William. This book has influenced my style of coaching and is a game changer when it comes to healing with healing foods and/or supplements.
Truthfully, after studying nutrition for more than 10 years, this book has provided me with more insight to treating chronic diseases, mystery illnesses, SIBO, gut health, and even the common cold than college and my internship provided for me.
Wait – did I mention it finally makes sense of the entire autoimmune disease spectrum. OMG- finally someone who can provide us with true insight on exactly what it is, why it happens, and how to treat it.
I’ve already applied the teachings from his books into my own healing journey. I first was eager to “test” out his recommendations on myself to determine if I felt any better.
Within a week, it relieved my chronic struggle to have a flow-full bowel movement. Let’s just say, for years, I’ve struggled with having a BM daily. It took effort to “feel” the urge and then some passing time to actually pass a successful BM. I know, all too much TMI. BUT my point was to inform you, with his dietary recommendations, within days, I was already noticing slight improvements. By the end of the week I was like, Wow! After continuing on for a month, I feel great, have more energy for sure, sleep deeper and better and I even lost inches.
I then began applying what I already knew combined with his teachings into my practice. My clients have responded with so much positive feedback.
I read the second book he published in 2017, The Liver Rescue and I did the Liver Reset Detox. The week I started, I immediately started losing weight, felt better, and it cleared up my constipation issues.
These books have influenced me to share some of the most important healing foods that he listed in his books and that I adopted into my life.
These foods are nothing “special” in the sense that they’re not rare, hard to find, or one’s you’ve never heard of.
This list of healing foods and benefits are take from Anthony William’s book, The Liver Rescue and Medical Medium.
If you are searching for a healing diet or treatment approach for your chronic disease or autoimmune condition, then you must pick up a copy of both these books.
